Why should I buy an OxyHealth chamber?

For the past 10 years OxyHealth is the #1 chamber brand in use, combining safety, quality, ease of use and affordability of Mild Portable Hyperbaric Chambers for Hyperbaric Oxygen! OxyHealth has sold nearly 11,000 chambers. That’s more chambers, and more treatments are administered overall in OxyHealth chambers than in the chambers of all the other chamber manufacturers combined, and with a perfect safety record. With over 25 years’ Experience Building Chambers it’s the brand most trusted by army, governments, doctors, researchers and patients alike.

How safe are OxyHealth chambers?

OxyHealth chambers are the number one chamber in use. OxyHealth tests its chambers to standards WELL ABOVE medical industry requirements. OxyHealth preserves high caliber, medical-grade chamber quality from urethane bodies to the smallest component. Chambers undergo a multi-stage inspection at the research, manufacturing, assembly and shipping levels to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

What is a burst test?

OxyHealth does a “burst” test to maintain quality. Chambers are literally inflated to the point of destruction - just to make sure that this point exceeds any pressure the chamber will be withstanding during occupancy. Each window and seam is “stress-tested” to stretch and hold a certain number of pounds of pressure far above the recommended guidelines.

How long does an OxyHealth chamber last?

We can confidently say that OxyHealth are the most reliable portable chambers on the market. Quite honestly – nearly 11,000 chambers later - there’s still no cap on the lifetime of a chamber! Cycle tests are still going strong and more importantly, chambers are performing flawlessly in the field.

How reliable is an OxyHealth Chamber?

From the very beginning OxyHealth chambers were “over-built” to avoid undue criticism. Ironically, this distinctive feature has proven to be the success of OxyHealth as the leader in reliability amongst competitors.

How does hyperbaric work?

Hyperbarics is a technology in which the air pressure in the environment is increased. When a person's body is placed in a more pressure environment, it absorbs more oxygen molecules per volume of compressed air.
The body normally transports oxygen via the hemoglobin of the red blood cells. By placing oxygen under pressure hemoglobin is saturated and the blood can be hyperoxygenated by dissolving oxygen within the plasma. The increased pressure infuses the body with oxygen, even reaching the sites of the injury with impaired circulation.

How does hyperbaric help?

There are numerous physical benefits of hyperbaric oxygenation and it would be not possible to cite all of them. Hyperbaric oxygenation increases available oxygen supply to the cells, fluids and tissues. Hyperoxygenated cells function at optimal level with lower energy expenditure. Increased oxygen supply allows the body to increase the availability of the neurotransmitters, mobilize stem cells, it stimulates the growth of new capillaries, it detoxifies the cells and reduces inflammation.

What is the difference between Mild Hyperbarics and High Pressure Hyperbarics?

Mild Hyperbarics is generally a pressure protocol up to 1.3 ATA. High Pressure Hyperbarics involves pressures above 1.5 ATA.

What is hyperbarics used for?

Mild hyperbaric therapy is used to treat traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, alzheimer’s, autistic spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, parkinson’s, post cancer treatment rehabilitation, sports injuries. It is used in sports medicine, as well as esthetics and anti-aging to promote general well-being and for disease prevention.

Does insurance cover Hyperbarics?

It depends on the country and the insurance company. In the United States for example, there are certain indications which insurance covers. It is best to contact your insurance company to find out what coverage they provide.

How many treatments are needed?

Each case is different. The doctor or treating physician may regulate protocols, depending on a patient's disease, prognosis and improvements through the course of therapy.

Is Hyperbaric therapy safe?

Hyperbarics has a very good safety record. Many hyperbaric centers report only mild otic discomfort as a contraindication to therapy. Such a discomfort is similar to the ear pressure felt when ascending or descending in altitude. These discomforts may be minimized by descending at a slower rate.

Is Hyperbarics good for children?

Yes, hyperbarics yields wonderful results with children. In fact, research with children suffering from brain-injuries and genetic disorders shows positive results and great promise.

Is Hyperbarics good for the elderly?

Most definitely. Hyperbarics is great for those in their later years. Hyperbarics provides an immeasurable boost which counteracts the signs of aging. In fact, new research indicates that hyperbaric oxygenation stimulates stem cells change.

Is Hyperbarics good for fitness and wellness?

Mild hyperbarics is used regularly by people from all walks of life, including many famous professional athletes, fitness instructors and Hollywood celebrities. As a competitive edge for athletes, hyperbaric oxygenation reduces muscle fatigue and the build-up of lactic acid enabling much shorter recuperation times after training and games. Members who use hyperbarics in their professional athletic careers report a significant advantage over competitors.
